O Psiquiatra ao Lado – Apple TV
O Psiquiatra mora ao lado é uma comédia dramática em que a 1ª parte do nome de gênero foi esquecido. De comédia não tem nada!!
Por outro lado, é um excelente drama!
É baseado em uma história real, daquele tipo que no final do filme aparecem uns textos dizendo: “cicrano aprendeu a jogar xadrez e mudou de cidade 5x nos últimos 10 anos.”... “fulano parou de torcer pro Botafogo e comprou um cachorro.”
O personagem principal é bem cativante, interpretado pelo humorista Will Ferrel. O texto é enxuto e inteligente, sem ser apelativo.
O antagonista é feito por outro humorista e dublê de galã, Paul Rudd. Interpretação impecável.
São apenas 8 episódios com uma média de 40 min cada.

Crônicas de Mercado
Periodicamente procuraremos trazer textos (crônicas) para nossos assinantes com o objetivo de levar a uma reflexão mais profunda sobre o mundo dos investimentos, assemelhando-o a nossa vida cotidiana, afinal, investir sempre fará parte da nossa vida cotidiana. Denominamos esses textos como “Crônicas de mercado”, e cada um deles virá com um tema diferenciado.
Contrassenso Comum
É estranho escrever contrassenso dessa forma. Eu cresci escrevendo “contra-senso”, aí vem uma reforma ortográfica marota de 2009 dizendo que está errado. Estava certo. Mas agora está errado.
Textos anteriores a 2009 terão uma grafia. Textos posteriores terão outra. Mas se eu estiver escrevendo um livro justamente na hora em que a lei estiver sendo promulgada? Creio que é necessário que começar os capítulos de uma forma e terminar de outra.
Mas deixe isso pra lá. Vou deixar por hora o papel de narrador superonisciente. Que graças a Deus a reforma ortográfica não transformou em “superronisciente”.
A partir de agora, assumo apenas um papel de narrador semionisciente.
Edmílson era um cara muito controlado. Exageradamente tenso com as coisas. Sua mãe dizia que era por conta do seu nascimento. O médico teve que puxar o bebê do útero com um fórceps, fazendo com que o garoto nascesse mais tenso do que torcedor do Botafogo na reta final do Brasileiro.
A maior parte dos bebês nasce tranquilo... Edmílson não. Edmílson estava com tanto cortisol no corpo que faltou pouco para ele se transformar no incrível Hulk.
Para não ficar à mercê do destino, Edmílson controlava tudo. O horário das refeições, as roupas que iria colocar, ou a quantidade de vezes que já tinha usado o lençol ou a tolha de banho.
Até a carga do celular ele controlava. O aparelho ia para o carregador religiosamente com uma carga de 40%, e só saía de lá com 100%.
Esse excesso de rigidez deixou o rapaz razoavelmente tenso, mas ele administrava a ansiedade praticando vários esportes. Também era péssimo galanteador, penando bastante para arranjar as primeiras namoradinhas.
Apesar de tudo, o moço cresceu e conseguiu cumprir à risca seus planos: 2 anos de namoro e 1 de noivado para poder casar-se com convicção de ser uma pessoa compatível. No último ano tinha que ser debaixo do mesmo teto, pra que seu “test drive” ficasse bom o suficiente.
Marisa gostava muito do rapaz, de forma que aceitou suas condições. Os dois casaram-se no dia 15 de outubro, que era a média exata da distância das datas de aniversários dos noivos. Ele até que deixou a noiva escolher quase tudo... Menos a música. Música ruim era um negócio que Edmílson não aguentava!!
O casal teve duas filhas, Ágata e Renata. Conforme seu planejamento, as meninas vieram com quase 2 anos de diferença.
Os 4 viveram uma vida boa. Mas controlada, é claro.
Quando as meninas estavam com 8 e 10 anos, o casal combinou (com a devida antecedência) de irem para um boliche.
As meninas estavam empolgadíssimas, nunca haviam jogado isso na vida. O shopping estava bem cheio e barulhento, é verdade, mas Edmílson conseguia curtir um pouco as filhas.
- Com ou sem canaleta, senhor?
- Pode levantar a canaleta, por favor.
O pai de família conhecia bem a sua família. Suas filhas tinham bastante dificuldade em lidar com a frustração. Especialmente a mais velha, Ágata. Várias jogadas com zero pontos seriam muito ruins para manter um clima bom, calculou o moço.
As meninas faziam festa umas com as outras, invadiam as pistas vizinhas, jogavam fora de vez... A mãe ainda brecava o andamento normal do jogo, ao mandar as filhas pousarem para fotos o tempo todo.
- Mãe, eu quero jogar com a mesma bola que você! – disparou Renata
- Mas filha, essa bola é pesada, vai machucar você.
- Mas eu quero, mamãe. A sua bola é mais bonita do que a minha.
- Essa bola não pode – disse sem a necessária firmeza.
- Mas eu quero! Eu quero, mãe, eu quero!
- Ok, então eu vou te ajudar e nós vamos jogar a bola juntas.
A solução agradou a Renata. Os 4 já estavam jogando na ordem correta, pois o pai já havia ensinado a todos as regras do boliche e a hora certa de jogar.
Poucos minutos depois, Ágata começou a ficar incomodada com o fato de a irmã mais nova estar com um placar melhor do que o dela. Afinal, a mais velha era competitiva como o pai.
- Isso não é justo, mãe!!
- O que foi, minha filha?
- A Renata tá com um placar maior do que o meu só porque você tá ajudando ela.
- A gente tá só brincando, filha – apaziguou a mãe
- Isso não é justo! Eu quero ganhar! Eu quero ganhar!
Edmílson intercedeu:
- Você quer que eu te ensine? Eu te ensino. Não sei se você vai ganhar, mas vai passar a jogar melhor. Quer?
- Sim – respondeu limpando o choro de forma brusca.
Edmílson tentou passar o que sabia pra filha. Falou sobre técnica, mostrou o movimento, os dedos corretos pra pegar na bola. Àgata melhorou no início, mas depois estagnou. A menina nem estava ligando, pois a pontuação estava boa. Quem se estressou foi o pai, que já estava envolvido emocionalmente em treinar a menina.
- Ágata, não tou entendendo! Tou dizendo pra você jogar a bola reto igual a da outra vez, mas você tá jogando errado.
- Não pai, você não tá entendendo. Eu prefiro jogar assim pro lado, porque eu faço mais ponto!!!
Finalmente Edmílson se deu conta do que estava se passando. A menina só priorizava bater o score da irmã. Ao jogar a bola de maneira mais correta, ela pegava na canaleta quase ao final da pista. Ao jogar atabalhoadamente, ela ia quicando pelas tabelas igual a uma máquina de pinball e derrubava alguns pinos.
Jogar errado estava trazendo mais pontos para a criança, que preferia não aprender. Era um enorme contrassenso, pois havia um incentivo por ali para jogar errado.
No mercado financeiro acontece algo muito semelhante: é razoavelmente normal perder dinheiro fazendo o certo ou ganhar fazendo errado.
A mente humana tem dificuldade de enxergar o contrassenso e faz várias associações erradas, dificultando o aprendizado dos investidores.
